Your guide will lead you to the Colosseum, the world's most famous amphitheater, illustrating its awe-inspiring structure and recreating the days when it was filled with the sounds of roaring animals, crowds, and the clashing swords of gladiators. Take a break for lunch at your own expense. After this, you will visit the Vatican Museums. Here, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel sits alongside works by Botticelli, Perugino and Bernini. You will also see St. Peter's Basilica, the world's largest Christian church (external only).

Meeting and drop-off point
The meeting point is at Caffè Vaticano, Viale Vaticano 100, 00165 Rome, Italy. Your guide will be waiting outside the café.
What to bring?
A shawl or cover-up for shoulders and knees at sacred sites. Valid photo identification for all participants is required
What To Remember
Your guide will await your arrival at the designated meeting point for up to 30 minutes from the scheduled start time. Unfortunately, missed tours are non-refundable.
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as this experience involves considerable time on foot.
The Vatican enforces a strict dress code requiring all visitors to cover shoulders and knees. Sandals are acceptable footwear.
Your guide will remain at the Vatican meeting point for a maximum of 15 minutes. Unfortunately, missed tours are non-refundable.
As this is an active place of worship, all visitors are required to have shoulders and knees covered. Entry may be refused for non-compliance with the dress code.
