Located inside the walls of Vatican City and not open to the general public, the Studio del Mosaico della Reverenda Fabbrica di S. Pietro was founded in the mid-1500s for the creation of the ten thousand square meters of mosaics that adorn the interior of St. Peter's Basilica. Centuries later, the Studio's experts still oversee the care and restoration of these mosaics. After this first portion of your experience, you will visit the Vatican Museums.

Meeting and drop-off point
Your guide will meet you at your Hotel. At check-out, before your purchase is confirmed, you will be kindly asked to leave the written address of your accommodation or potential meeting point. This implies the name of the hotel, bed & breakfast or residence in which you will be staying as long as it is situated within the city centre.
What to bring?
Valid photo identification for all participants. Please leave large bags at your accommodation.
What To Remember
Your guide will await your arrival at the designated meeting point for up to 30 minutes from the scheduled start time. Unfortunately, missed tours are non-refundable.
We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as this experience involves considerable time on foot.
The Vatican enforces a strict dress code requiring all visitors to cover shoulders and knees. Sandals are acceptable footwear.
Your guide will remain at the Vatican meeting point for a maximum of 15 minutes. Unfortunately, missed tours are non-refundable.
As this is an active place of worship, all visitors are required to have shoulders and knees covered. Entry may be refused for non-compliance with the dress code.
